Lodge Old St John No 21 Lanark

Cead Mile Failte!

Welcome to the Web site of Lodge Old St John 21 Lanark.

I am honoured to have been chosen by the Lodge to serve as Master for 2012 having last served in 2005.

I am very much looking forward to the year to come and getting out to visit all Lodges within the Upper Ward of Lanarkshire and beyond and receiving visitations from them into my Mother Lodge.

We at Old St John are always very pleased to receive visitors, new members and returning members, and are hopeful of receiving an increase in all during the years to come.

At Old St John we are planning for the coming year to re invigorate our charitable activities within the Lanark Area and would welcome information from any group working within and around the Town of Lanark for consideration for future support from the Lodge.

The Lodge has been struggling with attendance numbers in recent years although over the past year we have began to see a small reversion in this with several members coming back to the lodge and several new applications being received.

If you have been thinking about returning to the lodge, then this year, our 276th year as a member of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, would an ideal year to do so.

There are a lot of positive things developing in the Lodge at the moment and your support for these would be thankfully received and faithfully applied.

Old St John 21 Lanark shows Fealty to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Upperward and through that fine body to the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

We at Old St John are very proud that Past Master Thomas Millar of Old St John is the current Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Lanarkshire Upperward, the third Provincial Grand Master to have come from our Lodge.

We wish him another happy and successful year in office.
